Data Processing Agreement (DPA)

This Data Processing Agreement (“DPA”) forms part of the Terms & Conditions between you (“Customer”) and Moonbow.co, provider of pricechecker (“Processor”), when the Customer shares personal data subject to applicable data protection laws including the UK GDPR, EU GDPR, and others.

1. Purpose

The DPA governs Moonbow.co’s processing of personal data on behalf of the Customer in connection with the use of pricechecker.

2. Roles

  • Customer: Data Controller
  • Moonbow.co (pricechecker): Data Processor

We process personal data only on documented instructions from the Customer, unless required by law.

3. Types of Data Processed

May include:

  • Contact information (e.g. emails, names)
  • User identifiers
  • IP addresses
  • Usage logs related to platform access

We do not process special categories of data unless explicitly required by the Customer and agreed in writing.

4. Sub‑processors

We may engage trusted sub‑processors (e.g. hosting, analytics providers) under written agreements that mirror our data protection obligations. A current list is available on request.

5. Data Security

We implement appropriate technical and organisational measures to protect personal data, including:

  • Encrypted data transfer and storage
  • Role‑based access control
  • Regular audits and monitoring
  • Incident response protocols

6. Data Transfers

If we transfer data outside the UK/EU, we will ensure adequate safeguards are in place, such as Standard Contractual Clauses (SCCs).

7. Data Subject Rights

We assist Customers in responding to data subject requests under GDPR, including rights to access, rectify, erase or restrict processing.

8. Retention & Deletion

Data is retained for the duration of the service agreement. Upon termination, we will delete or return personal data unless retention is required by law.

9. Audits & Assurance

We will provide information necessary to demonstrate compliance and support audits where legally required.
