Anti‑Slavery & Human Trafficking Policy
1. Introduction
At Moonbow.co (“we”, “our”, or “us”), through our SaaS product pricechecker, we are committed to operating ethically and with integrity in all our business dealings. Our core value of Build with Integrity underpins our approach to human rights and labour practices.
We have a zero tolerance approach to slavery, human trafficking, forced labour, and child labour (collectively referred to in this policy as “Modern Slavery”). We are committed to ensuring that such practices do not take place in our organisation nor in our supply chains.
2. Scope
This policy applies to:
- All employees (full‑time, part‑time, fixed‑term, contract) of Moonbow.co.
- All suppliers, contractors, service providers, and business partners who supply goods or services to or on behalf of pricechecker, wherever located.
3. Our Commitments
We commit to:
- Compliance with all applicable anti‑slavery and human trafficking legislation, including the UK Modern Slavery Act 2015 and equivalent laws in other jurisdictions.
- Never engaging in or tolerating the use of forced, bonded or involuntary labour, whether in our own operations or those of our business partners.
- Ensuring that no child below the minimum legal working age (or below age 15 if no local minimum exists) is employed in our operations or supply chains.
- Ensuring that all workers are free to leave employment after reasonable notice.
- Making sure that working conditions, wages, working hours and treatment of workers comply with applicable local laws and industry standards.
- Seeking to identify, assess and, where necessary, mitigate risks of Modern Slavery in our operations and supply chains, and acting accordingly.
4. Due Diligence & Risk Assessment
- We will carry out regular risk assessments of our supply chains and business relationships to identify potential Modern Slavery risks.
- For high‑risk suppliers or jurisdictions, we may request disclosures, audits, or other assurances that appropriate labour standards are being met.
- We expect our suppliers, contractors, and business partners to cooperate with such assessments and to adhere to this policy.
- Where we identify potential non‑compliance, we will take appropriate action, which may include termination of the business relationship if necessary.
5. Supplier & Contractor Expectations
All suppliers and contractors to pricechecker must:
- Comply with all applicable labour laws and regulations in their jurisdiction, including those relating to Modern Slavery.
- Provide safe working conditions and fair and transparent employment terms.
- Maintain accurate records of employment, working hours and compensation.
- Allow freedom of association and collective bargaining where this is lawful.
- Cooperate with any audit or inquiry relating to Modern Slavery and labour conditions
6. Training & Awareness
- We will provide training and awareness‑raising to our employees about the risks of Modern Slavery and how to recognise signs of forced, bonded or child labour.
- We encourage our employees to raise any concerns or suspicions they may have about Modern Slavery practices, without fear of retaliation.
7. Reporting and Whistle‑blowing
- Employees, suppliers, contractors, or other stakeholders who suspect or become aware of Modern Slavery practices are encouraged to report the matter immediately to our designated contact: contact@moonbow.co
- We guarantee that reports will be treated confidentially and that there will be no retaliation or adverse action against individuals making such reports in good faith.
- We will investigate all reports promptly and thoroughly, and take appropriate remedial actions if needed.
8. Monitoring & Review
- This policy will be reviewed at least annually (or more frequently if required by changes in legislation or our business operations) to ensure it remains current and effective.
- We will monitor implementation of this policy and our zero‑tolerance approach through internal audits, supplier assessments and compliance checks.
- We will maintain records of our assessments, investigations and any corrective actions taken.
9. Governance & Responsibility
- The senior management team at Moonbow.co is responsible for the overall implementation and oversight of this policy.
- Each line manager is responsible for ensuring that employees understand and comply with this policy in their area of responsibility.
- Suppliers and contractors are responsible for ensuring their own compliance with this policy and for encouraging the same in their own supply chains.
10. Communication & Publication
- This policy will be made publicly available on the pricechecker website and internal intranet to ensure stakeholders are aware of our commitments and expectations.
- We will communicate our zero‑tolerance stance to Modern Slavery to all suppliers, contractors and business partners and include this policy (or referenced commitment) in relevant contractual documents where applicable.
11. Consequences of Non‑Compliance
- If any employee is found to have violated this policy, Moonbow.co may take disciplinary action, up to and including termination of employment.
- If any supplier or business partner is found to be in breach of this policy, we may suspend or terminate the relationship, require remedial actions, and/or seek legal remedies.
